Northern New England has been part of Steve's life for almost 70 years.  While growing up in Connecticut and living in Southeast Massachusetts and teaching at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf he found himself being drawn north.  In 1977 he moved permanently to the area and has lived in Brownfield, Maine for over 40 years.  He enjoys the proximity to the National Forest, hiking, skiing and camping with his wife Jan and now their grandchildren.
